Aussie Scrapjack for August

Well there were 2 Jacks this month and I was left thinking very hard about which one to do, they were both so different. This is what I came up with for Ann Lederhoses' Jack and if I get time I might just do Stacey Youngs' too!

PageMaps Sketch Challenge

I was lucky enough to get out last night and go scrapping at my friend Sharas' house YAY, I got 1 and a half layouts done, I think concentrating on doing sketches and challenges really gets my creativity flowing faster as I normally take weeks to finish 1 layout!!

I have only just discovered the PageMaps challenges (thanks Vikki!) and I absolutely love the sketches so here is a link to PageMaps check it out!

Lizard

Fletch found this lizard yesterday in the bush across the road from our house. He went over to play today and guess what! Lizard was still there! This time I wasn't going to let him go without doing a photo shoot!!

Lets Get Shabby August Challenge

I was lucky enough to get out of the house last night for some scrapping with Katrina and Jodie. I did this layout for the Lets Get Shabby challenge. When I got home I realised I had 2 layouts for this challenge YAY how good am I!!! The brief was to use gingham and flowers together, I'm pretty happy with both of these. The green one I did the other day and put on the blog then realised it fits the Let's Get Shabby brief too!!

White with 1 - August Challenge

Here is my white with 1 challenge layout for August. The brief was white with neutrals (cream through brown) and vintage embellishments. I got some of my doilys and sprayed them with brown glimmermist then cut them out and made different flowers. I've also been having heaps of fun making gorgeous roses out of love heart shapes. The large rose in the middle at the bottom is one of these. Such fun!

My Day

Well after getting the heads up on Sunday that we had swine flu, I prepared myself for a week of having the kids home with me. Now I love my kiddies but... I'm sure all you mums out there know what it is like when you have all of them at home, half sick half well, annoying each other, annoying me with "mum I'm bored", "mum he hit me", mum, mum, mum, mum, mum; I'm changing my name, I'm going to be called "Wanahakilogobilligen" now just to confuse them and it might make them a bit less bored while they are trying to work out how to say it!!!

Anyway poor things have been very ill, but obviously they are on the mend if they can annoy me and each other so much!
bye for now!!

Adore that Cheeky Smile

I'm feeling alot better, finished 2 TAFE assessments so I thought I would treat myself to a scrap! I did this one tonight and loved every minute of it, it was great fun to do.

I made my own background with a large doily and some glimmermist spray then cut around the edge with scallop edged scissors, it came out very beautiful and I have a lovely green doily to use on another project later on! how versatile!

TC Girls I'm thinking that I get alot more done when I scrap alone, I did too much talking at TC, who would've thought!!!!
cheers for now.
